A hearty welcome is extended to all of you to the BUSFEST,
the biggest international bus festival to be held at Malvern Show Ground in the
UK from the 7th of September to the 9th of September.
BUSFEST is actually the new name given to the event which was called VANFEST so
long. The VANFEST showcases the VW Camper Vans as also T2 Transporters. From a humble
beginning in the year 1994, as an average event referred to as the VANFEST held
at Malvern Show Ground, it has come a long way, to be recognized as the biggest
international bus festival. This fabulous event attracts equally owners and
those who are passionate about Volkswagen Transporter Vans.
It is now a mega event stretching over three full days in
the month of September and involving more than 8,000 vehicles, 300 plus trade
stands and an impressive turnout of about 25,000 people. The BUSFEST caters to
all your needs and queries relating to VW transporters including
VW Camper Vans and
T2 Transporters.
The event is organized in an enchanting and picturesque
setting with the Malvern Hills serving as an enthralling backdrop. The venue is
located 8 miles away from the M5 and also M50 motorways. Coming to the Malvern
Showground is not a big deal. You just need to follow all the brown signs to
reach the showground from all major routes. This site can boast of having
excellent facilities such as big as spacious halls, showers, toilets, mobile
caterers and even restaurants. There are plenty of shops that sell basic provisions
for the weekend as also, cash points.
Though the event is now called BUSFEST and not VANFEST, it
remains almost same in ideology and execution. The layout would be pretty much similar
to last year and business is expected to be as usual. The new event though,
known by the new name, will still have the same logo. Though the event would be
along the traditional line of thought, it would serve as a foundation or a step
toward a new future. There would be no change in the organizing crew, traders,
sponsors and supporters.
We aspire to make this event a major success and would
strive to make it a ‘fun event’ in the true sense of the words. We would
introduce evening entertainment free of cost. The display arena would become
larger and would present a greater number of mobile displays and visual static.
The new buildings are fully operational and we will have full access to them. One
major attraction would be the launching of another impressive BIG VW in the
year 2013. The booking for that vehicle would be commencing at this year’s
BUSFEST.
Keep in mind the following:
- Keep track of all the labeled AA Route signs leading
to the showground.
- Try and come before 23.00 hrs.
- Please respect the privacy of the local
community and do not pollute the peaceful environment.
- Do not trespass on other’s property.
- Main gates will be open for public from 10 in
the morning and apart from organizers and traders no one would be allowed to
enter the premises before time.
South Pedestrian Gate,
South Car Park and Yellow Gate will accommodate parking slots for disabled
drivers.
